About Normex Ball Type Silent Check Valve

Normex: Silent Check Valve are short-length double-flanged valves with all the internals designed Hydrodynamically. This valve, when open, the annular area between the body & plunger available for flow, is equal to the nominal bore area. Therefore, unlike other spring-loaded valves & conventional flap check valves, these valves offer lower head losses & maintain laminar flow. As the valve closes, due to return spring force, the valve is “Quick Closing”. The valve gets closed before the start of backflow/return velocity. Hence, the water hammer is eliminated in most of cases.

Normex ball-type silent check valves are specialized devices designed to prevent backflow in piping systems while minimizing noise and water hammer effects. These valves are particularly suitable for applications where quiet operation and protection against water hammer are essential, such as in water supply systems, HVAC systems, and industrial processes.
