It incorporates an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and a state-of-the-art optical chamber for efficient and accurate fire detection with high resilience to non-fire environmental influences. Its performance can be optimized by selecting from one of three preset alarm thresholds for greater stability within its installation environment. The 2351/EIA is backward compatible with the Series 100 detector bases, providing a facility to upgrade and extend existing installations.
