About Hdfire Y-Type Strainers

HDfire Y-Type Strainers are essential components in piping systems designed to remove solid particles from fluids to protect strainer-200mm-y-type-k-527-x/” title=”KARTAR – Ductile Iron Flanged Strainer (200mm) Y Type K 527-X”>downstream equipment. Their “Y” shape allows for efficient filtration, with the fluid entering through the inlet and passing through a perforated screen, which captures debris while allowing the fluid to flow freely. The captured particles accumulate at the bottom of the strainer, preventing them from entering the system. Y-Type Strainers are commonly used in pipelines carrying liquids or gases in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, and HVAC systems, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of downstream equipment.
