About Hdfire Post Indicators for NRS Gate Valves
HDfire Post Indicators for NRS (Non-Rising Stem) Gate Valves are devices used to indicate the open or closed position of the valve. They consist of a post, attached to the valve stem, which extends vertically above the ground. When the valve is open, the post is raised, and when the valve is closed, the post is lowered. These indicators provide visual confirmation of the valve’s status, allowing operators to quickly determine whether the valve is open or closed without needing to access the valve itself. Post Indicators enhance operational efficiency and safety, particularly in large-scale piping systems and infrastructure networks.
- HD-IP Vertical Post Indicator is used to identify the position of underground non-rising stem valve and provides means to operate the same non-rising stem gate valve. It is recommended for use in fire protection piping systems. The HD post indicator is adjustable to accommodate varying bury depths.
- HD-WP Wall Post Indicator shows the position of non-rising stem gate valve and provides means to operate that same non-rising stem gate valve, when it is behind a wall.
- Suitable for 4″-24″ size “HD” NRS Gate Valves
- Vertical & Wall Post Indicators are fusion-bond epoxy coated.
