Hdfire Pendent and Upright K-8 Sprinkler is a small, thermosensitive, glass-bulb spray sprinkler available in several different finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Sprinkler is UL Listed. During fire, the heat-sensitive liquid in the glass bulb expands, causing the glass bulb to shatter. Pendant, upright, and recessed K-8 sprinklers are fire safety devices. Pendant ones hang from ceilings, upright ones stand up straight, and recessed ones are hidden in ceilings. They all have a “K-8” label, showing their water flow rate and spray pattern. Pendant sprinklers spray water downwards, upright ones spray upwards, and recessed ones blend into ceilings. They’re used in different places like homes, warehouses, and hotels to protect against fires and are chosen based on the building’s layout and design.
