The limitation of protein foam regarding slow spreading is overcome by incorporating fluorinated surfactant in the formulation; spreading is improved without affecting foam stability. HD FFFP is suitable for fighting fires of non-polar, flammable solvents. Film Forming Fluoroprotein Foam (FFFP 3/6-C6) is a specialized firefighting foam concentrate effective against Class B fires. It forms a durable film on fuel surfaces, smothering flames and preventing re-ignition.
