HDFIRE Double Interlock Preaction System with Electric Pneumatic Release is an advanced fire protection system designed to provide reliable fire suppression while minimizing the risk of accidental water discharge. This system combines features of both pre action and deluge sprinkler systems, offering enhanced flexibility and effectiveness in protecting high-value assets and sensitive environments. In this system, the piping network is initially pressurized with air or nitrogen, similar to a pre action system, to prevent water from entering the pipes until a fire is detected. The sprinkler heads remain closed, ready to discharge water when activated. The Double Interlock Preaction System with Electric | Pneumatic Releas” feature refers to the system’s activation mechanism. Activation occurs only when both a fire detection device, such as a smoke detector or heat sensor, and a release system are triggered simultaneously. The release system comprises both electric and pneumatic components. Upon activation, the electric component triggers a pneumatic valve, allowing pressurized air or nitrogen to flow into the system. This pressure release activates another valve, allowing water to flow into the piping network and discharge through the open sprinkler heads.
