Hdfire deluge valve can be fitted with a pressure reducing pilot in order to reduce and manage outlet pressure, as per site design requirements. A deluge valve with pressure reducing pilot trim is a specialized type of fire protection valve designed to regulate water pressure in deluge fire suppression systems. This valve assembly comprises two main components: the deluge valve and the pressure reducing pilot trim. The deluge valve with Pressure Reducing Pilot Trim is the primary control device responsible for releasing water into the fire protection system when activated by fire detection devices. It remains closed under normal conditions, but upon detection of a fire, it opens rapidly to allow water flow into the sprinkler system. The pressure reducing pilot trim is an auxiliary device connected to the deluge valve. It consists of a pressure reducing valve and associated control components.
